Rooms are community spaces organized around specific topics, themes, or interests. Think of them as mini-communities within MyPloxora where members share relevant content and discussions.

Joining a Room
1 Browse Rooms
Visit the Rooms page to see all available communities. You can filter by category or search by keyword.
2 Preview the Room
Click on any room to see:
- Description and rules
- Member count and activity level
- Recent posts from the community
- Moderators and room owner
3 Click "Join Room"
For public rooms, you're instantly added. For private rooms, the owner must approve your request.
4 Participate
Post content directly to the room, engage with other members, and follow room guidelines.
Creating Your Own Room
🏠 Room Requirements
You must be a verified creator with at least 100 followers to create a room.
1 Navigate to Create Room
Go to Rooms → "Create New Room".
2 Set Up Your Room
Fill in the details:
- Name: Clear, descriptive (e.g., "Fiction Writers Hub")
- Description: What the room is about
- Icon: Choose an emoji that represents the theme
- Category: Help users discover your room
- Privacy: Public (anyone can join) or Private (approval required)
- Rules: Community guidelines for members
3 Launch and Promote
Once created:
- Invite your followers to join
- Post regularly to keep it active
- Engage with members' posts
- Promote it in your bio and posts
Managing Your Room
As a room owner, you can:
- Moderate content: Remove inappropriate posts
- Ban users: Block rule-breakers
- Appoint moderators: Get help managing the community
- Feature posts: Pin important content
- Edit room details: Update description and rules
